    JOB SUMMARY

    As the Accessibility Project Manager you will manage multiple projects ranging from iOS and Android applications, mobile sites and web apps and accessibility projects for global brands and exciting, well-known start-up companies. You will be responsible for coordinating testing activities, managing a team and working directly with clients. You will lead efforts to help change the way testing is done so it’s accessible to all. 

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Consult with internal team and external clients about accessibility projects and needs 
    • Work on several mobile/web projects simultaneously in a complex, high-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities
    • Client interaction including: gathering project requirements, deliverable timelines, estimates and negotiations
    • Develop and manage the test schedule, take part in every step of the quality assurance process: planning, estimating, collaborating, and executing 
    • Strategize with clients’ project teams to anticipate problems, analyze solutions, identify alternatives and suggest recommendations
    • Create and manage budgets for various types of projects
    • Align resources to meet the needs of the projects
    • Manage a team of QA Analysts and QA Leads across various types of accessibility testing projects 
    • Monitor testing progress, resource assignments, communication with client developers, and maintain overall quality of bugs for all assigned projects
    • Actively participate in daily project planning meetings
    • Create reports related to accessibility testing
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 
    • Review test requirements, technical documentation, functional and non-functional specifications 
    • Manage and distribute incoming requests from the client 
    • Work remotely with QA Analysts throughout testing cycle and send client update reports when needed 
    • Be proactive and check with clients to anticipate test rounds and upcoming testing needs 
    • Meet with existing and potential clients and represent the company in the highest professional manner 

     

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1-2 years of project management, producer, supervisory or team leader experience 
    • Must have experience with WCAG guidelines 2.0 Level AA and AAA
    • Must have experience with assistive technology
    • Must have an extensive knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools 
    • Must have an understanding of QA tools and processes 
    • Thorough knowledge of iOS, Android and Microsoft tablets and mobile devices
    • Strong technical knowledge is preferred
    • Managorial, analytical, planning, and negotiation skills
    • Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with client-facing communication
    • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
